MEET
THE
LiferS
I’m Priscilla Warner
I’m Sarah Payne StuarT
Why do we call ourselves LIFERS?
Because we've been friends for almost half a century.
We met in 1978 in the Ladies room of an advertising agency in Boston where we were starting our careers, one of us trying to exude confidence in an ultra-suede dress with a cigarette burn, the other just trying to keep it together in breakfast-stained corduroy jeans.
I spotted Priscilla at the sink at 10am, cupping her hand under the faucet and tossing a Valium into her mouth, and thought, “I must have this woman as my best friend.” recalls Sarah.
We’ve been LIFERS in many ways - as friends, work partners, daughters, and sisters. We’ve been married to our husbands forever. And we have loved our dogs so much that they are obviously our LIFERS too. We've been mothers, it seems, from the beginning of time––for so long that our LIFER children have produced their own and turned us into doting (albeit less-than-agile) grandmothers.
We love sharing funny stories and have separately written a variety of New York Times Best Selling and Notable Books. And now we're finally collaborating on the book that began in that Boston bathroom long ago when we began laughing, crying and celebrating life together.
So, think about your own LIFERS when you read the book LIFERS and watch our videos.
And maybe even give them a call.
